Cluny Women's College, Kalimpong, observed Paschimbanga Divas (West Bengal Day) on 20 June 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The programme was organized by the Cultural Committee to commemorate the rich cultural heritage, history, and traditions of West Bengal and to mark the legislative act leading to the creation of the State of West Bengal.
The observance aimed to create awareness among students about the history of Bengal and the Partition of Bengal within India. A special lecture was organized by the Department of History to foster greater interest, a sense of responsibility, fraternity, brotherhood, unity, social cohesion, and collective identity towards the heritage, culture, and legacy of West Bengal.
