Cluny Women’s College observed the 206th birth anniversary of Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, the renowned educationist, social reformer and humanist, at Declan Hall. The programme was graced by Rev. Sister Eva Anju Lakra, Provincial Superior of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Cluny, Province of North East India and Nepal; Dr. Sr. Binita Rai, President of the Governing Body; and Dr. Sr. Pushpa Michael, the Principal, along with faculty members and students.
The Department of History marked the occasion with student paper presentations highlighting Vidyasagar’s life, ideas, and enduring contributions to Indian society.
