16 September 2026: The Department of Education, Cluny Women’s College, organised a departmental seminar on “From Behaviourism to Constructivism: Evolution of Learning Theories and Their Educational Implications.” The seminar explored the relevance of learning theories to contemporary education, with student papers highlighting NEP 2020 and its emphasis on learner-centred, experiential and holistic education. The presentations also discussed the changing roles of teachers as facilitators and learners as active participants in the teaching-learning process.
The programme was attended by Principal Dr. Sr. Pushpa Michael, faculty members, and students, providing an engaging platform for academic discussion and exchange of ideas.
