15 September 2026: The Department of English, Cluny Women’s College, organised a seminar on the theme “Love, Dating, and Desire in Literature: From Romantic Poetry to Contemporary Fiction.” The seminar focused on the changing portrayal of love, dating, and desire in literature, tracing these themes from Romantic poetry to contemporary fiction.
Principal Dr. Sr. Pushpa Michael, faculty members, and students of the Department of English were present on the occasion. The seminar provided an engaging academic platform for discussion and reflection on the representation of relationships and human emotions in literature. The programme concluded with an enriching exchange of ideas among the faculty and students.
