The Students’ Welfare Committee of Cluny Women’s College organized the Freshers' Orientation Programme for the Academic Session 2026–2027 on 28th July 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Declan Hall.
The programme commenced with a prayer led by Dr. Sr. Magdeeline Singh, followed by the National Song, Vande Mataram. The Principal, Dr. Sr. Pushpa Michael, warmly welcomed the freshers and encouraged them to make the best use of the academic, co-curricular, and personal development opportunities offered by the college while upholding discipline and values.
Students were introduced to the faculty members of their respective departments and received important information from the Anti-Ragging Committee, Library Committee, and the National Service Scheme (NSS). An audio-visual presentation showcasing the college's history, achievements, and vibrant campus life further acquainted them with the institution.
The orientation programme provided the freshers with valuable information about academic expectations, campus facilities, student support services, and co-curricular opportunities. It also enabled them to interact with faculty members, fellow students, and key administrative staff, helping them begin their academic journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
