On 12 September 2026, the Department of Sociology of Cluny Women’s College organized a seminar on the theme “With and Beyond the Syllabus: Everyday Encountering.” The seminar aimed to provide students with an enriching academic platform to explore sociology beyond the prescribed syllabus and to understand how sociological ideas emerge from everyday experiences and encounters. Principal Dr. Sr. Pushpa Michael, faculty members of the Department, and students from various semesters were present on the occasion. Students actively participated by presenting papers on diverse topics, making the seminar an engaging and enriching academic experience.
